At Riverland Faeries, we believe in transparency, consent, and respect. Here's what you need to know about your personal information in plain, friendly language.
When you register for gatherings or use our contact form, we collect information like:
We only collect what's necessary to organize safe, welcoming gatherings and respond to your inquiries.
As someone whose data we process, you have important rights. Here's what they mean in practice:
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you. We'll provide a clear, understandable summary of your data within 30 days.
If any of your information is incorrect or outdated, you can ask us to fix it. We want your data to be accurate!
You can request that we delete your personal data. We'll do this unless we have a legal obligation to keep it (for example, for safety records or tax purposes). Note that we automatically delete carpooling data 30 days after gatherings and contact form data after 6 months.
You can ask us to temporarily stop processing your data while we resolve a dispute or verify information.
You can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (like JSON or CSV) so you can take it elsewhere if you wish.
You can object to us processing your data for certain purposes. For example, if you no longer want to receive emails about future gatherings, you can opt out at any time.
If you've given us consent to process your data (like for marketing emails), you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing that happened before you withdrew it.
Exercising your rights is simple:
Send a message to privacy@faeries.eu with your request. Please include your name and email address so we can verify your identity.
Tell us which right you want to exercise and what data you're concerned about. This helps us respond quickly and accurately.
We're committed to responding to all requests within one month. If your request is complex, we may need a bit more time, but we'll let you know.
